From the B90D Participant's Guide...

This Week's Reading Tips...

* If you are unfamiliar with the books in this week's reading, you may become very confused.  There are several reasons for this, including:

  - Many new people and names are introduced that can be hard to distinguish from one another.

  - Some events are described more than once.

  - The kings of Israel and Judah are handled in rapid-fore succession.

* To minimize confusion:

  - While continuing to read attentively every word, focus your attention in a manner that allows you to notice patterns of behavior by the various kings.  For most of the kings, their pattern of behavior rather than the specifics of their behavior are key.  The kings who distinguish themselves will be pretty clear to you.

  - As you read 1 Kings and 2 Kings, fill in the diagram on page 42 of your study guide.
